The prices quoted above apply to vacation rentals, per week, for numbers of guests up to the maximum stated for each house.
The houses can also be booked as a party venue. Casa Nova makes a very atmospheric venue for a summer garden party to mark a special occasion. Please note however that we do not ourselves supply a party planning service and that use of the property as a party venue is only possible where both houses are rented together, requires prior arrangement and is at extra cost. You can see some photos here of Il Casale set up for various parties we held here at Casa Nova in the summer of 2014, for groups of around 30, 60 and over 140. We have a lighting rig that can be set up to light the garden and outdoor theatre and 12 bar-height tables that can be set up on the lawn for buffet dining. The outdoor theatre makes a great music venue (provided you make sure to pay for the licence the local authority requires for live music!) It is also now possible (for an extra charge) to book the Iris display garden as a venue for summer parties, provided that the houses are rented at the same time. We held our first wedding here in 2023: photos here. We can put you in touch with a number of local businesses that you can hire to cater a party or run a bar, and if you don’t want to do the organising yourself, we can put you in touch with a party planner.
Outside of peak season, we are also prepared to consider shorter stays, changeovers on days other than Saturday or Sunday, or discounts for longer stays. Please contact us to enquire about this.

Please note that bookings are not confirmed until a rental contract has been signed and booking deposit of 25% paid. The balance must be paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of the rental (or at the time of booking, if this is less than 8 weeks before). Rent includes gas, electricity, broadband internet access, supply of clean bedlinen and towels at the beginning of each rental week and routine cleaning between rental weeks. An allowance for central heating is included within the mid/low season rent.
Additional charges:
Cancellation charges apply, as set out here in our terms and conditions for rentals, other than in exceptional situations related to Covid-19 (see our Cancellations and Covid-19 policy). A refundable security deposit is payable on arrival. Please note that you are asked, for the sake of subsequent guests, not to smoke indoors and anyone breaching this condition will have to pay an extra charge for cleaning and dry-cleaning.
